We are in the process of establishing Regional Reagent Distribution Hubs to make it easier for researchers to request these Open DNA Collections from an area that is more convenient for receiving these reagents that is being stewarded by Reclone.

Reclone is currently hosted by the Open Bioeconomy Lab at the University of Cambridge, and it is also affiliated with the International Centre for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology (ICGEB) in Trieste (Italy). We have established partnerships with academic researchers at the Universidad Nacional de Cuyo (UNCUYO) in Argentina, Ashesi University in Ghana, and the Ateneo Research Institute of Science and Engineering (ARISE) in the Philippines, as they act as the Regional Hubs.

As we are in the pilot phase, we are only distributing plasmids from the Research in Diagnostics Collection from the Regional Hubs. However, we are aiming to expand this in the near future. In the meantime…

And if you would like to be a future Regional Hub, and/or have more direct questions/comments/feedback, email: coordination@reclone.org.
