Dr. Cecilia D’Alessio

Dr. D’Alessio’s lab is involved in the production of recombinant proteins to distribute among groups intended to produce detection kits and the design of purification protocols. She believes that a platform such as Reclone is of vital importance during the Covid pandemic to help Argentina cheapen the cost of diagnostic kits by providing both clones and contacts with groups that purify enzymes. After the pandemic, the access to molecular biology tools will be essential to face new diagnostics challenges and future pandemics, as well as to provide researchers of her university with clones and enzymes essential to molecular biology research.
