This series of workshops was organized to explore these practices, discussing collective experiences, challenges, and future plans. We took an expansive approach to openness while narrowing our approach to biological materials as we focused on replicable material rather than finite biospecimens and primary cells from patients collected in biobanks and biorepositories.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-contrast-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-ce4bcd7b6b4bfcd26f670b6b78576bc4 wp-block-paragraph\">Participants were invited to consider what success looks like and how effective biosharing can be developed to support the current research and innovation ecosystem.
